Our seller is a life long collector in his 80's and shares that he has invested over $60,000 in making sure that this Mustang is well sorted, dependable and fun to drive. Health concerns are his reason for offering it to a new home. The 302 CID engine has a mild cam and a healthy sound. It runs and drives excellent. The overall presentation is excellent with some very tasteful modifications. Check out the engine compartment, it's super clean and very impressive with the finned Cobra style valve covers and the matching Shelby style air cleaner. Even though the beautiful Hartz- Cloth convertible top will be down during most of your drives, you'll appreciate the Air Conditioning too!. Take a close look at the seating, they are a much improved (and more comfortable) bolstered sport styling with a nod to the optional vintage “Pony” panels on the seat backs. The undercarriage was stripped during the restoration and two coats of “Frame Saver” was applied. The body was also stripped down and multiple coats of Ivy Green color and clear coat were applied. This fully restored Mustang is an excellent choice for someone who wants the vintage look, with mechanical and cosmetic improvements and upgrades that the factory could not offer in 1966.
