1972 Buick GS 455 (GS 350)-Auto- A/C Owned 40 Years!
For sale is a meticulously maintained and beautifully restored 1972 Buick GS 350, which has been enhanced to a GS 455 with great care and attention to detail. The second owner of this classic acquired it four decades ago and has dedicated years to refining and restoring it to make it as authentic as possible to an original GS 455.

This genuine GS was born with a 350/TH350 automatic, and all the original warranty protecto-plate information is intact, along with the dealer plate and trunk plaque from Claborn Buick in Atlanta, where it was originally purchased. Moreover, you'll find valuable documentation from the Sloan Museum in Flint, which holds all of the Buick production records, including the window sticker and build sheet.

The car comes with a plethora of desirable options, such as power steering with a quick ratio of 12:1, power disc brakes, and power windows and locks. The 455 engine has been meticulously rebuilt, featuring modified Stage 1 heads, while the TH400 transmission has been rebuilt with a mild shift kit. The air conditioning system has been updated and converted to r134a, providing cool comfort during your drives.

Not only is this Buick a beauty to behold, but it also boasts several performance enhancements. The 15x8 Buick rally wheels are complemented by a 12-bolt Moser rear end with HD axles and 1350 pinion, ensuring optimal traction and reliability. For added stability, the car features 1 ¼ inch front sway bar, boxed rear control arms with a 1-inch sway bar, and Elbach 1”lowering springs both front and rear.

Inside, you'll find a blend of classic style and modern convenience. The cabin features bucket seats and a console, along with a Retro Sound AM/FM radio equipped with Bluetooth and auxiliary inputs, allowing you to enjoy your favorite tunes during your journeys.

The attention to detail extends to the performance and maintenance aspects, as the car is equipped with MSD ignition, a Holley Sniper Quadrajet carburetor on the factory jet manifold, a Holley in-tank fuel pump, and a new stock exhaust system and mufflers.

To ensure a smooth and safe ride, the front end has been rebuilt with all-new bushings, ball joints, tie rods, center link, and idler arm, providing peace of mind for the road ahead.

As a bonus, the original Buick 350 engine and TH350 transmission (matching numbers) come with the car if desired, giving the new owner the option to preserve the car's original powertrain.

With its extensive documentation, comprehensive restoration, and stunning appearance, this 1972 Buick GS 455 is ready to turn heads and provide a driving experience that combines nostalgia with modern-day comforts. Don't miss the opportunity to own this exceptional piece of automotive history.
